NuBot team is organized by RoboCup research group, Robot research office, School of Mechatro-electronic and Automation, National University of Defense Technology.

We started our research on robot soccer from 1999. We have researched FIRA small-size league, FIRA simulation league, RoboCup simulation league, RoboCup small-size league and RoboCup middles-size league.

In 2004, we made our first MSL robot. It was a different-driven robot. In 2005, we created the first generation omni-driven robot (picture, video). NuBot was the first team to use omni-driven robot for compentition in China. We designed the second generation omni-driven robot in 2006 (picture, video). Compared with the first generation, the latest generation is slighter and smaller with stronger kicker, more effective vision system and AI system. We participanted in RoboCup2005(Simulation League) and RoboCup2006(Middle-Size league, picture). We participating in Middle Size League of RoboCup2007 Atlanta, entering the Top 8 and winning the 3rd place in technical challenge 1 in 2007(picture,video). We took part in all leader meetings and proposed some suggestion.

Our research topic includes Multi-Agent Cooperation, Path Planning, Omni-Vision Processing, Omni-Directional Movement Control and Multi-Sensor Fusion
